Routing &
orchestration.
Routing selects the right path for a request. Orchestration coordinates the steps, specialists, and results needed to complete a task.
Two roles that work together
Compare two models using their papers. Routing selects research. Planning defines the steps. Orchestration runs the two readings together, waits for both, and passes their results to the comparison and source check.
The numbers are illustrative. Accuracy uses the same held-out test. Response times must use matched inputs, hardware, and measurement conditions. Add the missing measurement to see how the answer changes.
This is a fixed workflow. An autonomous agent can choose or revise steps from results. Both need clear tool permissions, stop conditions, and error handling. A source check reduces errors; it does not guarantee truth.
